Anxiety Support
Living with anxiety can make even simple tasks feel daunting. It's more than occasional worry — it can affect your relationships, your work, and your peace of mind. If you're feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or stuck, you're not alone, and support is available.
I offer online anxiety therapy for residents across Vancouver Island, alongside in-person sessions in Sidney, Victoria, and Langford. My approach is trauma-informed, body-aware, and grounded in Two-Eyed Seeing (Etuaptmumk) — bringing together Indigenous knowledge and Western clinical care so neither is diminished.
How I work with anxiety
Whether you're dealing with generalized anxiety, panic attacks, or social anxiety, we'll work together to understand the roots of what you're carrying — not just manage symptoms on the surface. Sessions may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness-based approaches, and narrative therapy, depending on what fits you.
What to expect
Personalized care — every session is shaped around your specific experience, not a one-size-fits-all program
Flexible access — connect virtually from anywhere on Vancouver Island, or meet in person if you're in the Greater Victoria area
A collaborative pace — we build trust before exploring anything difficult; you're never pushed further than you're ready for
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a referral to start therapy?
No referral is needed — you can reach out directly to book a first session.
Is online therapy as effective as in-person?
Yes. Virtual sessions allow the same depth of care as in-person therapy, with the added flexibility of connecting from home.
Do you work with Indigenous clients specifically?
Yes — I bring 20 years of experience working with Indigenous individuals and communities across BC, and I'm an approved First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) provider. My approach honours cultural safety and each person's own relationship to healing, whether Indigenous or not.
